Welcome to the Blackboard e-Education platform—designed to enable educational innovations everywhere by connecting people and technology.
The Taylor University Blackboard server system was last updated Janaury 2015 by the application of several "building block" module updates to the underlying Blackboard Learn 9.1 SP14 CU5 system.
The latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, and Safari browsers work fine with the current version of Blackboard, but if you are using an older version of Internet Explorer (IE) as your browser, or if you have "Compatibility mode" turned on which makes IE function like an older version, you may notice the top "title bar" frame (My Blackboard, Courses) or scroll bars do not display properly. To fix this, go to your IE Tools menu and either turn off Compatibility mode or else remove the "taylor.edu" URL from the list of sites using Compatibility mode.
If you run across any other problems or have questions about the new Blackboard software, students should contact the I.T. Help Desk 998-4040 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and Faculty should contact "Faculty Connection" at 998-4444 or email email@example.com
This course may contain copyrighted media used in compliance with U.S. Copyright Law. Copyrighted media may not be saved to your computer, revised, copied, distributed, or viewed by individuals not enrolled in the course.
Having a Blackboard issue? First thing to try is a different browser! If you are using Internet Explorer, try turning off/on "compatibility mode".
